Hummus

Makes about 2 cups

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas 1 x 14 oz can, drained
  • Zest & Juice of 1 Lemon
  • Tahini 3 Tbs
  • Garlic 1 small clove, chopped
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Cumin ½ tsp
  • Warm Water ¼ cup
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil for drizzling
  • Sumac 1-2 tsp

Make it

  1. Reserve a few whole chickpeas for garnish.
  2. Place the remaining chickpeas in food processor along with the lemon juice and zest, garlic, salt, cumin and water. Process until smooth.
  3. Scrape the hummus into a serving dish and top with a generous drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle with sumac. Garnish with the reserved chickpeas.
