A fabulous way to serve Pacific Coast oysters.
Ingredients
- Unsalted Butter ¼ lb plus 4 Tbs
- Garlic 1 head, peeled, finely chopped
- Oysters 24 medium, freshly shucked on the half shell
- Breadcrumbs 10 oz
- Pernod 2 tsp
- Dried Mixed Herbs1 tsp
- Dried Dill 1 tsp
Cook It
- Preheat the oven to 375˚F.
- Melt the butter over low heat. Add the garlic and slowly sauté until soft and fragrant. Mix in the remaining ingredients.
- Spread a small amount of the mixture on each of the shucked oysters. Use a couple of muffin tins to balance each oyster shell on a cup. Bake for 5 minutes then increase the heat to broil and bake until golden brown. Serve immediately.
