This Door County cocktail comes from Mezzanine in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin. If you don’t feel like making the ginger syrup, feel free to enjoy with standard ginger beer!
Ingredients
Ginger Syrup
- Purified Water 2 cups
- Cane Sugar 1 3/4 cups
- Fresh Ginger cubed, 2 cups
Mule
- Vodka ½ oz
- Ginger Syrup ¾ oz
- Door County Cherry Juice ½ oz
- Lime Juice
- Club Soda
Mix It
- Make the syrup: Combine ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer and let steep for 20 mins. Strain and cool.
- Mix the drink: Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake, and pour into a tub glass. Top with club soda.
