The smoky notes of mezcal and the sweet/tart tang of passionfruit come together in one sophisticated and delicious cocktail.
Ingredients
- Mezcal 2 oz
- Passionfruit Puree 2 oz
- Mango Nectar 2 oz
- Fresh Orange Juice 1 oz
- Fresh Lime Juice 1 oz
- Smoked Sea Salt to rim the glass
- Dried Lime Wheel & Rosemary Sprig for garnish
Mix It
- Rub the rim of a highball glass with a lime wedge, then dip into the salt.
- Combine the mezcal, passionfruit puree, mango nectar, lime juice and orange juice n a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well blended.
- Pour into the glass and garnish with the lime wheel and rosemary sprig.
Note: Passionfruit puree is available frozen in Hispanic grocery stores. If you like a sweeter cocktail, add a teaspoon of Cointreau or agave syrup.
