Pears and blue cheese are a classic pairing, while pecans add a sweet nutty crunch.
Ingredients
- Ripe Pears 2
- Blue Cheese 100 g. crumbled
- Pecans 50 g, chopped
- Fresh Thyme Leaves 1 tsp
- Cider Vinegar 1 Tbs
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 Tbs
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Baby Salad Leaves for serving
Cook It
- Peel, core and slice the pears. Arrange on top of the salad leaves and scatter the blue cheese, pecans and thyme leaves over the top. Sprinkle with the cider vinegar and drizzle with the olive oil. Season with a few grinds of black pepper.
